Job summary

University of Louisville is seeking a Development Officer I/II (Fundraising & Partnerships) to support revenue generation for the Cardinal Athletic Fund. You will identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors and corporate partners, managing a portfolio and collaborating with stakeholders to advance Louisville Athletics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• For Development Officer II: Bachelor's degree and two years fundraising experience, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using Salesforce CRM.
• Experience using Ticketmaster Archtics or similar ticketing systems.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cultivation and solicitation strategies for major gifts.
• Solicit and secure donations of $10,000+ to support capital projects, scholarships, and program needs.
• Execute premium seating and suite sales; achieve related fundraising goals.
• Manage a portfolio of donors; travel to visit donors and attend events.
• Support NIL fundraising, corporate partnerships, and donor engagement initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to advance Louisville Athletics.
