Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area plus 10 years of related experience, or a Master’s degree plus 8 years of related experience.
• Experience leading a unit or team and managing personnel is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of athletics financial management, reporting, and compliance is expected.
• Excellent organizational, management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to GW values, integrity, and compliance with applicable policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the athletic business office operations and personnel.
• Provide strategic leadership for the department's financial operations and budgets.
• Oversee annual and multi-year operating budgets, revenue forecasts, and expenditure projections.
• Monitor budgets, ensure timely reporting, and manage contracts and financial transactions.
• Prepare and deliver financial reports to university and athletics leadership.
• Collaborate with University Budget Office on budget materials and ongoing financial matters.
• Ensure compliance with NCAA, Conference, and University policies.
