Job summary

The Athletics department at California State University, Fullerton is seeking a Facilities Operation Specialist (Athletics Administration Professional II) to oversee athletic facilities, maintenance, scheduling, and events.

You will hire and lead student event staff, coordinate external events, manage budgets, ensure safety, and liaise with Facilities Planning and Public Safety to deliver high-quality programs.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of relevant experience.
• Ability to administer athletics policies, procedures, and programs with sound judgement.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; lead staff and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee athletic facilities, maintenance, scheduling, and events.
• Hire, train, and manage student event staff; coordinate external event activities.
• Ensure safety protocols and enforce university policies.
• Coordinate operations with Facilities planning, Public Safety, and other departments.
• Prepare reports and budgets; manage invoicing and contracts.
