BEST Crowd Management is hiring at Penn State University for Athletics Event Security roles. As a Guest Services Staff member, you will welcome attendees, answer questions, and help maintain smooth event operations with a strong focus on safety and customer service.

This part-time position requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays, and a willingness to obtain a security license if required. The team emphasizes professionalism, teamwork, and a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Experience in event security or related field advantageous.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Possess or be willing to obtain a security license if required by local regulations.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to attendees.
• Assist with event set-up and signage.
• Monitor areas for cleanliness and policy compliance.
• Answer questions about the event and venue.
• Guide guests to seating, restrooms, concessions, and exits.
• Address inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
