Job summary

Middle Georgia State University Cochran campus is seeking a Part-Time Athletics Event Assistant to support home athletics events. You will help with game management, operate the scoreboard and shot clock, and assist with public address announcements.

The role also involves providing photography, videography or other creative content for the Athletics department, requiring reliability, basic math, and the ability to work with the public. This is a temporary, part-time position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous participation or coaching in athletics is preferred.
• Experience in photography or videography is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Duties include all duties accompanying in-game athletic events.
• Operate shot clock and scoreboard during competitions.
• Perform public address announcements when needed.
• Provide photography, videography or other creative content duties for the Athletics department.
