Job summary
San Diego State University seeks an Associate Athletic Director for the Aztec Club to lead fundraising efforts and advance philanthropic support for SDSU Athletics. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; three to five years fundraising or sales experience.
- Experience with donor cultivation, solicitation, stewardship and retention.
- Skilled in developing and executing fundraising plans and goals.
- Knowledge of NCAA, conference, and university rules; compliance oriented.
- Experience with fundraising software such as Salesforce, Ticketmaster, Paciolan or Ellucian.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate, solicit, and steward leadership annual donors.
- Develop strategies to increase donor giving, engagement, and retention.
- Lead day-to-day Aztec Club operations and annual giving programs.
- Supervise the Assistant Director, Aztec Club and coordinate donor benefits.
