Job summary

PSU Foundation in Portland seeks an Associate Director of Development, Athletics to manage a high-impact donor portfolio and advance philanthropic relationships for PSU Athletics. You will drive solicitation strategies, collaborate across Foundation and campus teams, and attend events to represent the university with integrity.

With 4+ years of fundraising success and a Bachelor's degree, you’ll leverage CRM tools, AI-enabled platforms, and Office apps to expand donor acquisition and ensure

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressively responsible fundraising experience, including proven success in securing gifts of $25K+.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant area, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Technical fluency in fundraising systems and tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, CRM platforms; ability to leverage emerging technologies to enhance productivity.

Responsibilities

• Manage a High-Impact portfolio of special and major gift donors and prospects.
• Advance philanthropic relationships to increase engagement and revenue for PSU Athletics.
• Collaborate with Foundation colleagues and campus partners on solicitation strategies for Athletics priorities.
• Attend Athletics events and serve as a positive ambassador for the university.
• Collaborate with PSU Athletics Director, coaches and staff to align fundraising with priorities.
