Job summary

Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA is seeking an Assistant Director of Athletic Communications to serve as the primary media contact for assigned sports, assist in media relations and content creation, and coordinate gameday production.

The role reports to the Director, requires a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, and offers full-time exempt status with comprehensive benefits; schedule includes weekdays with evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in communication or creative services.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Google Suite Products (Docs, Gmail, Sheets, Slides, Drive).

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary communication director for assigned sports and handle media relations and public relations.
• Design and manage creative strategy and content across social media, photography/graphic design, and related projects.
• Coordinate gameday production and supervise gameday staff and volunteers.
• Collaborate with colleagues for weekly and post-season awards and update school records.
