Job summary

The University Athletic Association, Inc. in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Facility Groundskeeper to support the Maintenance Department with facility maintenance, landscaping, painting, grounds care, and related tasks.

This role requires lifting up to 75 lbs and the ability to work a non-standard schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays; availability for home games and post-season events is required, and a valid driver's license is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of related experience and/or training.
• Valid driver's license required.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Maintenance Department with facility maintenance, clean-up, painting, grounds maintenance, pressure washing and landscaping.
• Be able to work a non-standard work week including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime; and be available for home football games, post-season baseball, and other sports as needed.
