Iona University is seeking an Associate Athletic Director – Academic Services to provide leadership and oversee comprehensive academic support for student athletes in New Rochelle, NY. The role focuses on promoting academic success, retention, and degree completion within the Athletics Department.

The incumbent will coordinate advising, monitor progress, ensure eligibility compliance, and supervise staff, while collaborating with coaches and campus partners to support holistic development.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• Experience in collegiate athletics or higher education is expected.
• Knowledge of NCAA academic eligibility and student-athlete support requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership and oversight of academic services for all student athletes within the Department of Athletics.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate academic support programs that promote academic success, retention, and graduation.
• Monitor student athlete academic progress, including eligibility and degree progress.
• Coordinate academic advising with university departments and campus partners.
• Communicate with coaches about student athlete academic progress while maintaining privacy.
• Identify students needing additional support and coordinate interventions.
• Monitor academic success plans and NCAA eligibility processes.
• Assist with course selection, registration, and degree planning.
• Supervise Athletics Academic Support Staff.
