Job summary

Qualifications

  • Successfully passed the Board of Certification exam and completed all qualifications for active certification.
  • Able to lift loads of 50 pounds or more.
  • Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Emergency preparedness, prevention, evaluation, referral, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries for assigned teams.
  • Supply inventory and bidding.
  • Creation of department policy and procedure.
  • Assistance with implementation of the university drug testing program.
  • Supervision of student helpers.
  • Work with 32 varsity and 10 junior varsity athletic teams; home event and some away event coverage required.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer.
  • Team assignments based on current need and experience.
