Job summary

Twin Cities Orthopedics is seeking an Athletic Training Coordinator to oversee scheduling and event coverage for partnerships across professional, collegiate, high school, and youth programs. The role requires evening, weekend, and holiday hours as part of a full-time schedule.

The coordinator will ensure trainers hold NATABOC, MN licensure, and other credentials, assist with recruiting and training, and coordinate with staff and partners for smooth event operations.

Qualifications

• NATABOC certification is required.
• Licensed (or eligible for registration) in Minnesota.
• Current Emergency Cardiac Care certification is required.
• Cardiac Care Instructor certification is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage the Outreach event schedule and ensure TCO contracted events are staffed with athletic trainers.
• Ensure all outreach athletic trainers maintain required licenses, certifications and protocols.
• Support recruiting, hiring, coaching, training, and developing employees in collaboration with the Hiring Manager.
• Communicate event details frequently with staff and partners; maintain Emergency Action Plans for events.
