Job summary

The New York Mets are hiring Athletic Training Associates for affiliate sites in Florida and New York for the 2027 season. This role offers experience in professional baseball within a multi-disciplinary performance department, with responsibilities as assigned by the affiliate head athletic trainer.

Position requires BOC and CPR/AED certifications; bilingual English/Spanish preferred. All positions begin January 4, 2027 and end November 30, 2027, with travel paid by the Organization.

Qualifications

• Current BOC Certification and CPR/AED certification required.
• New graduates welcome to apply.
• Spanish language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based assessments, management, and rehabilitation plans for injuries under supervision of the assigned head athletic trainer.
• Work as part of a coordinated performance department to implement organizational and individual programs.
• Daily game and work out coverage including pre/post-game treatments and field set up.
• Administrative duties as assigned by the affiliate athletic trainer or medical coordinator.
• Analyze objective monitoring data to make decisions about individualized evaluation and interventions.
• Assist with hydration testing and protocols provided by the performance nutrition department.
• Inventory management of both medical supplies and nutritional supplements.
