MUSC Health is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer in Camden, SC. The trainer will provide community services related to sports injury prevention, care, and rehabilitation primarily in a high school setting.
Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, preferably a master's in athletic training, and BOC certification. Strong communication skills and availability for weekends and evenings are essential.
The Certified Athletic Trainer (AT) reports to the Sports Medicine Manager. The AT will be assigned to a high school and provide community-based point of service for sports‑related prevention, care, coverage and rehabilitation, referral, and marketing for musculoskeletal injuries and sports‑related ailments within a defined environment for athletes of school age, adolescent, early adult, middle adult and late adult. The AT works under the general supervision of a physician, physical therapist, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner.
