The Certified Athletic Trainer (AT) reports to the Sports Medicine Manager and is assigned to a high school to provide community-based prevention, care, coverage and rehabilitation for athletic injuries. Under supervision of a physician, PT, PA, or NP, you will interact with athletes across age groups and support referral and marketing efforts for musculoskeletal conditions.

Graduate of an accredited college with a BS/BA. (Masters degree in Athletic Training preferred). Must be able to adjust communication both verbal and non-verbal to interact appropriately and effectively with a wide variety of age groups including school age adolescents, adults and geriatrics. Weekend and evening hours to cover practices, games, tournaments, and special events.
Certification by the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers(BOC). Certified as an Athletic Trainer in South Carolina by DHEC.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
