Oklahoma State University’s OSU-Center for Health Sciences invites applications for an Athletic Trainer. The role involves athletic training administrative duties and coordinating medical coverage for home and away contests, including scheduling of student and graduate assistant trainers.

Work schedule will vary according to practice and event schedules. These can change depending on availability of facilities and weather changes. Athletic events will take place after business hours, on weekends, and on holidays.

Athletic Training Administrative duties.
Assist with the coordination of medical coverage for home and away contest, including scheduling of student and graduate assistant athletic trainers.
Athletic Trainer Responsibilities include:
Prevention of athletic injuries and illnesses.
Evaluation of athletic injuries.
Treatment of athletic injuries.
Counseling and education of student athletes.
Health/Physical Education, Sports Medicine/Kinesiology, Athletic Training or equivalent,
(degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)Post Graduate Athletic Training Experience
Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:
Certified by the National Athletic Trainers' Board of
Certification and/or American Physical Therapy Association
Prior to hire: Licensed by the state of Oklahoma as an athletic trainer Mustbe NATA BOC certified andpossessor be in the process of acquiring state licensure.
Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:
Health/Physical Education, Athletic Training, Physical Therapy
Experience working with Athletic Trainer/Physical Therapist
Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:
Additional: Preferred Certification by NASM as PES, or by NSCA as CSCS.
