Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare seeks an athletic trainer technician to assist athletic trainers with room preparations, quality control, event setup, inventory, equipment prep, and patient care under supervision.

Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in every encounter with patients, families, and staff. The role involves documentation and communication regarding patient care, event support, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support, AED, and First Aid training required.
• Enrollment in or completion of an accredited MSAT program.
• FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Right Career).

Responsibilities

• Assist athletic trainers with patient care duties and related functions.
• Document and communicate patient care information.
• Support preparation and execution of events and special projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The athletic trainer technician will assist athletic trainers with performance of duties including, but, not limited to: athletic training room preparation, quality control initiatives, event set up, inventory, equipment preparations, patient care assistance with appropriate supervision, and related documentation. Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.

• Support the Athletic Trainer with the preparation and execution of events and special projects.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Education, Credentials, Licenses: High School Diploma
• Basic Life Support/AED/First Aid Training Certification
• Enrollment/graduate of accredited Masters of Athletic Training (MSAT) program
• FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Right Career.
