Job Details

• Location: 100 Duke Health Cary Pl, Cary, NC 27519
• Type: Full-time, Entry level
• Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (no evenings, weekends, or holidays)

Job Responsibilities

• Provide patient care including rooming, history taking, documentation, and patient education.
• Perform clerical duties such as preparing clinics, obtaining test results, updating charts, verifying insurance, and coordinating referrals.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment by following protocols for cleaning, stocking supplies, and managing biohazard waste.
• Assist with clinical procedures like checking vital signs, suture removal, dressing changes, and applying DME, as permitted by law.
• Develop skills to remove casts, apply splints, and fit DME products. Evaluate patients during post-operative visits with physician support.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in athletic training and licensure in North Carolina (NCBATE)
• National BOC certification
• Current CPR certification
