Join Duke University Health System as an Athletic Trainer in our Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics department located in Cary, NC.
Job Summary: Provide direct and indirect patient care, including rooming patients, collecting histories, charting, teaching HEP, and assisting with clinical procedures. Support clerical duties such as prepping clinics, obtaining test results, updating charts, and verifying insurance. Maintain a safe and organized clinical environment and develop skills in cast removal, splint application, and fitting DME products. Some responsibilities may include evaluating patients during post-operative visits, under physician supervision.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field, North Carolina licensure as an athletic trainer, current BOC certification, CPR certification, and NC licensure by the NC Board of Athletic Trainer Examiners.
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with no evenings, weekends, or holidays.
