A leading healthcare provider in Wynne seeks a dedicated Athletic Trainer to manage and care for injuries in physically active individuals. The role involves rendering emergency care, developing injury prevention programs, and using various modalities for treatment. Full Time, with varied shifts and hours depending on school schedules.
Minimum Age Requirement: 18 years of age or older
Must be licensed in the State of Arkansas to practice Athletic Training. CPR certified.
Sound clinical skills and demonstrated good judgment. Ability to problem-solve and plan effectively. Effective oral and written communication skills. Basic computer skills.

Requires physical strength to perform the essential functions of the job. Must be able to work the required schedule. Hearing within normal range. Frequent sitting, stooping, standing, walking, bending, pushing/pulling up to 250 pounds, carrying up to 35 pounds, and lifting up to 100 pounds.
The Athletic Trainer facilitates the management and provision of care for injuries to a physically active person, as defined in the state practice act, under the direction of a licensed physician. Responsibilities include rendering emergency care, developing injury prevention programs, and providing appropriate preventative devices for the physically active. The role also involves assessment, management, treatment, and referral of conditions within the scope of a certified athletic trainer's education and training. Use of modalities such as mechanical stimulation, heat, cold, light, air, water, electricity, sound, massage, therapeutic exercises, reconditioning exercises, and fitness programs are also included. Effective communication is essential.
