Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking an Athletic Trainer – Floater to supply flexible clinical and outreach support across high schools, events, and orthopedic clinics. You will deliver injury prevention, on-field care, clinical evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and return‑to‑play decisions, coordinating referrals within the health system.

The role requires a bachelor's in athletic training, current BOC certification, and licensure eligibility within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in athletic training from an accredited program (CAATE).
• Current athletic training certification by the Board of Certification (BOC).
• Licensed or eligible for state licensure within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to complete American Heart Association BLS/CPR & AED within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training services at collegiate/professional events and community settings.
• Collaborate with Sports Medicine Team to cover events and support community service.
• Provide acute medical care on the field during practices or games.
• Perform clinical evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and reconditioning as needed.
