Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in New Hampshire seeks an Athletic Trainer to join a fast-paced, collaborative orthopedic and sports medicine team. You will be integral to delivering compassionate, coordinated patient care and supporting clinical operations.

The role offers full-time shifts (8- or 10-hour), with hours typically 6:30 a.m.–8:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, plus some weekend coverage, and consideration of other FT arrangements or per diem based on needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Athletic Training, or a related field is required.
• Master's degree in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or related field is preferred.
• Current Athletic Trainer state licensure is required.
• Certified Athletic Trainer credential is preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license preferred, depending on coverage needs.
• Orthopedic, sports medicine, rehabilitation, outpatient clinic, or related patient care experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records, Epic, or similar clinical systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care as part of the orthopedic and sports medicine team.
• Collaborate with clinicians to coordinate patient care and ensure efficient workflows.
• Document patient encounters accurately using EMR/Epic or similar systems.
• Support clinic coverage and adapt to varied hours as needed.

Job Summary

Our Orthopedics and Sports Medicine practice is looking for a motivated, patient-focused Athletic Trainer, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being part of a collaborative care team. The Athletic Trainer serves as an important extension of the orthopedic care team and helps ensure patients receive efficient, compassionate, and coordinated care.

Schedule and Locations

This role offers full-time schedule options, including 8- or 10-hour shifts, with hours that may range from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, based on clinic needs. In addition to full-time opportunities, we are open to exploring other FTE arrangements and per diem opportunities depending on a candidate's goals and availability.

Qualifications
