Under general supervision by clinical leadership, the Athletic Trainer provides athletic training and clinical support services in sports medicine and orthopedic practice. The role functions as a liaison between providers and local athletes at collegiate and high school youth programs, working closely with the Physical Therapy department. This is a fast-paced role in an exciting field. If the Athletic Trainer has obtained the Orthopedic Technologist Certification (OTC), they will also provide surgical assisting duties as directed by the Orthopedic Surgeon.
