Job summary

MaineHealth in Brunswick, ME is seeking an Athletic Trainer to provide athletic training and clinical support in sports medicine and orthopedic practice, acting as a liaison between providers and local collegiate and youth athletes while collaborating with the Physical Therapy department.

If the Athletic Trainer has the Orthopedic Technologist Certification (OTC), they will also provide surgical assisting duties as directed by the orthopedic surgeon, contributing to patient care and program

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training required (CAATE accredited program). Master's degree preferred.
• Current applicable state licensure as an Athletic Trainer required or compliant with state practice act.
• Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
• BOC certification.
• NBCOT certification (eligible or application in process).
• Casting certification required or needs to obtain within six months of start date.
• One year of experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer preferred.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

The pay range for this position is $61,256.00to $82,867.20per year.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
