Advocate Health is seeking a full-time Athletic Trainer for the Aurora Highland Ave orthopedic surgery department. Responsibilities include injury assessment, care planning, patient education, and documentation.

The role involves collaborative care with physicians and the rehab team, plus patient advocacy and safety during transfers. The ideal candidate holds a CAATE-accredited bachelor's degree and a current BOC certification, with license eligibility in the practice state within 30 days.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in athletic training from CAATE-accredited program.
• Current athletic training certification by the BOC.
• Licensed or eligible for Athletic Trainer license in the practice state within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Perform injury assessments and triage, referring patients for care.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans and monitor outcomes.
• Educate patients and families, provide home exercise programs and community referrals.
• Document patient care per department policy.
• Assist in patient positioning, transfers, and mobility as needed.
• Ensure care is appropriate for patients’ age and development.
