Job summary
UCHealth is seeking a licensed Athletic Trainer for an onsite PRN role in Englewood, CO. You will prepare athletes, assess injuries, and implement rehab plans under physician supervision, while maintaining medical records and coordinating care with physicians. A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master’s is preferred, with NATA-BOC certification and Colorado DORA licensure.
BLS is required. This onsite position does not offer hybrid or remote options, and compensation ranges from $24.11 to $36.17
Qualifications
- Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT) required.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master’s preferred.
- NATA-BOC certification required/licensure to practice.
- Colorado licensure (DORA) as Athletic Trainer required.
- BLS certification required; CPR/BLS valid through start date.
Responsibilities
- Prepare athletes for practice or competition.
- Evaluate and manage injuries; determine referrals.
- Implement treatment and rehab programs under physician supervision.
- Develop conditioning programs for injured and healthy athletes.
- Maintain medical files; liaise between physician and athlete.
