Job summary

Premise Health in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Full Time Certified Athletic Trainer - Clinical Injury Prevention Specialist to provide care at our Health Center. The role offers a 3pm–Midnight schedule, with sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

New grads are welcome to apply. The successful candidate will perform musculoskeletal assessments, deliver preventive training, and collaborate with on-site medical teams to support employee wellness and safety programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited Athletic Training program.
• Current BOC Certified Athletic Trainer.
• CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS may be required based on contract scope.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement early intervention programs including musculoskeletal exams and injury prevention education.
• Perform physical demand and ergonomic assessments to identify risky tasks and suggest preventive strategies.
• Lead group and individual training on functional movement, job simulation, and injury prevention.
• Coordinate care with on-site medical and safety teams and recommend workplace countermeasures.
• Document assessments, recommendations, and outcomes accurately and promptly.
• Maintain up-to-date patient health records for proper documentation.
• Participate in meetings and task forces as assigned.
• Carry out other duties as required.
