Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking an Athletic Trainer to deliver athletic training services to schools and organizations within the OSF network. The role focuses on prevention, evaluation, management, and treatment of athletic injuries in collaboration with physicians and the care team.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in athletic training, state licensure, and BLS certification. Travel to assigned sites is required; NATA BOC certification within 90 days of hire is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from accredited athletic training program.
• Athletic trainer licensure in current state.
• Current American Heart Association BLS required prior to start date of employment.
• Ability to travel to assigned work locations.
• National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification (NATA BOC) within 90 days of hire.
• Basic computer skills and experience with online documentation.

Responsibilities

• The Athletic Trainer provides athletic training services to OSF stakeholders, including organizations and schools.
• Supports the provider in the clinical care of the athlete or patient and may help facilitate alignment within OSF.
