Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a licensed athletic trainer to deliver athletic training services across OSF stakeholders, schools, and communities. The role supports clinicians, contributes to injury prevention, evaluation, and treatment, and assists with patient care in collaboration with physicians and care teams.

Travel to assigned work locations is required; BLS certification and NATA BOC eligibility within 90 days are needed, along with a bachelor's degree in athletic training and basic computer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from accredited athletic training program.
• Current athletic trainer licensure in state.
• AHA BLS required prior to start date.
• Willingness to travel to assigned locations.
• NATA BOC within 90 days of hire.
• Basic computer skills and experience with online documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training services to OSF stakeholders, including organizations and schools.
• Assist with operational functions and patient care for OSF HealthCare providers.
• Collaborate with the physician and care team on prevention, evaluation, management, and treatment of athletic injuries.
• Support the provider in clinical care and facilitate alignment within OSF.
• May contribute to community program objectives for health promotion, wellbeing, and education of athletes, patients, and their support systems.
