Job summary

The ideal candidate will ensure thorough documentation, assist in supply management, and regularly collaborate with the senior athletic trainer to enhance patient care and skill navigation in a sports environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs athlete evaluation on/off the field; provides immediate care as needed and/or develops an effective treatment plan appropriate to the athlete’s needs.
• Selects and competently uses a variety of appropriate treatment techniques.
• Educates athlete/family in applicable treatment and prevention.
• Regularly uses and keeps up-to-date documentation via UH preferred injury tracking software.
• Assists Athletic Director in ordering supplies and keeping current inventories, billing, etc.
• Meets with senior athletic trainer regularly to review competencies and skills.
