Job summary

AdventHealth in Deland, Florida, seeks an Athletic Trainer to deliver comprehensive care for athletes, including assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation. You will work with physicians, coaches, and staff to optimize performance and prevent injuries.

The role requires ATC and BLS certification, a Bachelor's in Athletic Training, and hospital setting experience. Full-time, Day-Weekend shift with benefits from day one and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training required.
ATC certification required.
BLS certification required.
1+ year in health care or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Collaborates with contract leadership to define and execute policies and procedures.
Conducts initial assessments of athlete injuries or illnesses and provides therapeutic interventions.
Maintains medical records in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Liaises with team physicians, coaches, and staff to ensure proper care and rehabilitation.
Markets Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation programs within the hospital and community.
