Job summary

Kansas Health System is seeking an Athletic Trainer II to provide comprehensive athletic training services for student-athletes in Track & Field. Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Athletic Training or related field from an accredited college or university within 90 days of the hire date.
• 2 or more years of experience as an athletic trainer.
• Preferred: Less than 1 year of experience working with collegiate or national level.
• Licensed Athletic Trainer (AT) - State Board of Healing Arts within 90 Days
• Certified Athletic Trainer - BOC ATC upon Hire

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training services and/or supervision under the direction of a Team Physician.
• Coordinate clinical diagnostic testing and referrals with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Manage injury evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation plans including return-to-participation decisions.
• Educate patients, coaches, and staff on wellness, injury prevention, and treatment plans.
• Assist with emergency medical care and on-site coverage during practices and events.
