Job summary

PT Solutions Physical Therapy is seeking an Athletic Trainer to provide clinical care at Erwin Middle School in Tennessee. The role focuses on developing treatment plans, patient education, and collaboration with clinicians to support student-athletes.

The position requires AT-specific credentials, state licensure, and ABC certification. We offer structured mentoring, CE courses, PTO/EIB, and license/dues reimbursement as part of a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in athletic training required.
• State licensure and ABC certification required.
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Establish timely treatment plans for each patient’s needs.
• Demonstrate a positive connection with patients and team members.
• Build and maintain relationships within the community.
• Perform orthopedic assessments and document findings.
• Counsel on concussions, nutrition, mental health, etc.
• Coordinate communication with MDs, PTs, PSCs, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare field and venue setups for athletic activities.

Your Responsibilities as an Athletic Trainer

• Demonstrate a positive connection with patient, fellow clinicians, and other team members
• Build and maintain relationships throughout the community
• Orthopedic assessments and documentation
• Counseling on concussions, nutrition, mental health, etc.
• Coordinated stakeholder communication, e.g., MD, PT, PSC, etc.
• Field and venue setup

Compensation & Bonus Structure

• Base Salary: $56,000 - $58,000 / year (based on experience and market factors)
