Are you ready to play an integral role in the treatment and care of athletes? Henry Ford Health is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Athletic Trainer to support our student athletes at East Jackson High School. As a part of our vibrant community, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the health, performance, and success of our student‑athletes.
East Jackson High School, located in southern Mid-Michigan in the eastern part of Jackson County, is a proud member of the Michigan High School Athletic Association. As a Class C school offering 12 competitive sports programs, East Jackson provides student‑athletes with robust and high‑quality athletic experience.
We are seeking a full‑time Athletic Trainer dedicated exclusively to East Jackson High School. The athletic trainer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive health care program for student‑athletes and other patients as needed. This role requires a strong communicator who can effectively serve as a liaison between the East Jackson athletic department and Henry Ford Health.
Provide prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with applicable policies and standards
Collaborate with coaches, administrators, and health care professionals to support athlete well‑being
Serve as the primary point of contact between the school’s athletic department and Henry Ford Health
