Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking an Athletic Trainer to support Cranbrook/Kingswood School in Bloomfield Hills, MI. You’ll provide athletic care, coordinate appointments with the health system, and work with physicians to deliver integrated care.

You’ll help athletes reach peak performance with individualized care, promote health education, and expand services to physician clinics and community events. This full-time role offers growth and impact in a dynamic school setting.

Qualifications

  • Board of Certification (ATC) holder and Michigan state licensure or eligibility.
  • Post-professional master's degree in athletic training or related field preferred; two years of experience.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of NCAA, NJCAA, and MHSAA policies; support community outreach programs.
  • Certifications such as CSCS, PES, FMS, CKTP, EMT are valued.

Responsibilities

  • Provide athletic training services to Cranbrook/Kingswood School athletes.
  • Serve as liaison between Henry Ford Health and Cranbrook/Kingswood School to coordinate appointments.
  • Collaborate with Henry Ford Health team physician and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care.
  • Deliver individualized care to improve injuries and overall wellness.
  • Educate on best health practices and promote long-term wellness.
  • Expand services to physician clinics, community outreach, and engagement events.

Are you ready to play an integral role in the treatment and care of athletes? Henry Ford Health is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Athletic Trainer to support our student athletes at Cranbrook/Kingswood School. As a part of our vibrant community, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the health, performance, and success of our student-athletes.


About Cranbrook/Kingswood School
Cranbrook/Kingswood School - Cranbrook Educational Community, established in 1985, is a coeducational private preparatory school located in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. The school's lengthy history dates all the way back to the 1920s when boys attended Cranbrook School, and girls attended Kingswood School. Cranbrook/Kingswood classes today are taught on both the original Cranbrook and Kingswood campuses that total over 300 acres. Participating in the Michigan High School Athletic Association Class B athletics, Cranbrook/Kingswood offers more than 40 sport programs to its students. The athletic trainer will complete approximately 1000 hours of coverage at Cranbrook/Kingswood annually, with the bulk of the hours occurring during the school year. However, as this is a full-time position, additional hours will be dedicated in Sports Medicine/Orthopedic physician clinic and other duties will be assigned.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide athletic training services to our athletes at Cranbrook/Kingswood School.
  • Be the liaison between Henry Ford Health and Cranbrook/Kingswood School to help coordinate various appointments within the health system.

Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
