Job summary

A healthcare organization is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer to provide outreach in Hampton Roads. In this role, you will evaluate and treat athletic-related injuries while educating athletes on maintaining peak fitness. You will also travel with teams and be available at sports events and practices to provide necessary assistance. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training and relevant certifications, including NATA and a Virginia License.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's Level Degree in Athletic Training.
• Certification from NATA is required.
• Valid Virginia License as an Athletic Trainer is necessary.
• BLS certification needed.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, advise, treat, and educate athletes on injuries.
• Travel with the team to sports events and practices.
• Provide preventative maintenance and assistance.
