Position Overview

Pivot Onsite Innovations has an immediate need for an experienced and passionate Industrial Athletic Trainer at our client’s construction site in Cambridge, MA. This position offers an opportunity to work at a dynamic worksite and make an impact on employee health, wellness, and safety! Must be able to work afternoons: M-F 3P-11P.

Job Summary

The Industrial Athletic Trainer will plan, coordinate, and supervise injury management and health improvement programs for employees at the worksite. Key skills include injury prevention, evaluation, ergonomic risk assessments, OSHA emergency/first aid, health education, and worksite health promotion.

Responsibilities
  • Perform wellness assessments and ergonomic risk analyses.
  • Develop and implement site-specific wellness initiatives.
  • Design ergonomic interventions using innovative solutions and employee empowerment.
  • Provide first-aid for musculoskeletal issues, including ice, heat, stretches, massage, tape, and non-rigid bracing.
  • Conduct orthopedic injury assessments; participate in injury prevention education (not rehabilitation).
  • Coordinate treatment plans involving therapeutic exercises, modalities, and work conditioning.
  • Analyze data, complete forms, document files, and generate reports.
  • Create a trustful environment to promote injury reduction and health responsibility.
  • Communicate with safety personnel and advocate for non-occupational injuries.
  • Attend meetings and serve on committees; contribute articles as needed.
  • Position may require COVID-19 vaccination proof.
Qualifications

Required: Bachelor's degree, BOC certification, state licensure, current First Aid/CPR/AED, willingness to travel, strong interpersonal skills.

Preferred: 2+ years of experience, OSHA/worker’s comp knowledge, proficiency in Microsoft Office, ergonomic/occupational health experience, CEAS/OSHA10 certification.
