The Athletic Trainer is responsible for providing comprehensive athletic training services to Archbishop Carroll High School student-athletes, including injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, emergency care, and return-to-play management. The Athletic Trainer works collaboratively with the Athletic Director, coaches, physicians, healthcare providers, school personnel, student-athletes, and families to promote the health, safety, and overall well-being of all student-athletes.
The Athletic Trainer provides coverage for practices and athletic competitions as assigned and plays an essential role in maintaining a safe environment throughout the Archbishop Carroll Athletics program.
The Athletic Trainer is expected to maintain the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, communication, and student care. The Athletic Trainer should demonstrate sound judgment, respond to student-athlete health and safety concerns with urgency, and work collaboratively with coaches, administrators, families, and healthcare professionals.
As a member of the Archbishop Carroll High School community, the Athletic Trainer is expected to support the Catholic mission of the school and contribute to an environment that promotes excellence in academics, athletics, character, and service.
