Conditions. Workplace Diversity, LLC. is seeking an Athletic Trainer responsible for providing quality athletic training services to student-athletes at the University of the Incarnate Word. The position requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a CAATE-accredited program and certifications including BOC Certified and Texas licensure.
Typical work hours are Mon-Fri 8 am to 5 pm, with flexibility. Ideal candidates will have strong organizational skills and the ability to work within diverse communities.
UIW Mission
The Athletic Trainer is responsible for providing quality athletic training services primarily to their assigned student-athletes and supports other staff members with athletic training for all student-athletes at the University of the Incarnate Word. The Athletic Trainer reports to the Associate Athletic Director for Sports Medicine.
Bachelor's or Master's degree from a CAATE-accredited Athletic Training program.
Master’s Degree from a CAATE-accredited Athletic Training program or affiliated field.
Typical hours Mon‑Fri 8 am to 5 pm with flexibility, based on schedule of assigned sport. Hours will include some nights and weekends as appropriate.
