A healthcare organization in Portland is seeking an Athletic Trainer to provide athletic training coverage and support for sports teams. The ideal candidate will manage injury prevention, assessment, and treatment, working under the Clinical Supervisor. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in a health-related field, an Oregon Athletic Trainer License, and BLS certification. The Athletic Trainer provides athletic training coverage/support for sport team/school assignment(s) as directed by the Clinical Supervisor for Rehab Services or Sports Medicine. Provides and assists in the coordination of activities that include injury prevention, immediate assessment/evaluation/treatment of injuries and appropriate triage of injuries.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Health related field or equivalent education/experience
• Upon hire: Oregon Athletic Trainer License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Upon hire: BOC (Board of Certification of athletic trainer's membership)
• Upon hire: In compliance with company policy and state regulations, a Department of Human Services (DHS) criminal background check is required for this position (PL 540 and 580 only)

• 2 years experience working in school/college environment as an athletic trainer
