Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in athletic training or related field from an accredited program.

• Strong knowledge of injury prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in athletic training, occupational health, sports medicine, rehabilitation, or a similar setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training services, including injury prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation.
• Evaluate injuries and develop appropriate treatment and recovery plans.
• Provide first aid and emergency care when necessary.
• Assist individuals with injury rehabilitation and safe return-to-activity programs.
• Develop and implement injury prevention and wellness programs.
• Perform therapeutic exercises, stretching, taping, bracing, and other appropriate interventions.
• Monitor individuals during rehabilitation and track their progress.
• Educate individuals on proper body mechanics, injury prevention, conditioning, and overall wellness.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatments, and follow-up care.
• Recognize situations requiring referral to physicians or other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional treatment environment.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals, supervisors, and other team members.
• Follow established clinical, safety, and compliance protocols.
