The primary role of the Athletic Trainer is to provide services including prevention, diagnosis, and management of injuries/illnesses within the AT scope of practice to area schools, colleges, professional organizations and/or other community partners. Responsibilities include development/implementation of Emergency Action Plans, coordination of event medical coverage, communication plans, documentation of care plans, and assists department leadership to ensure appropriate supplies and support are available.Job Description:
Education, Credentials, Licenses:
*Must obtain Regular (Non- Temporary) Licensure in the state where work is being performed within 6 months of employment
Specialized Knowledge:
Expertise in prevention, diagnosis, and management of musculoskeletal injuries
Broad range of injury management including both musculoskeletal, concussion, and emergency care
Knowledge of Athletic Training regulatory requirements
