Job summary

Life Time, Inc. in Irvine seeks an Athletic Reformer Instructor to deliver reformer-based classes focused on strength, stability, and safe movement. You will guide members, maintain studio standards, and promote Life Time programs.

Candidates need group fitness experience, anatomy knowledge, CPR/AED, and reformer Pilates certification; a bachelor's is preferred. This is a full-time, on-site role with competitive class pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of fitness instructor work experience.
• Experience teaching group fitness formats.
• Knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics.
• Ability to perform an aerobic activity for duration of a class.
• Ability to lift 50–100 pounds.
• Ability to perform exercises specific to athletic reformer-based training.
• CPR/AED Certification.
• Minimum of one of NASM, ACE, AFAA, or AEA Group Exercise Certifications.
• Comprehensive Reformer Pilates Certification (For Reformer Pilates roles only).
• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or related field (preferred).

• Delivers high-quality, athletic reformer-based classes rooted in Life Time’s methodology.
• Builds connections with members and creates an inclusive environment.
• Provides instruction on form, technique, and movements for safety.
• Maintains a clean, organized studio space before and after classes.
• Selects energizing music aligned with brand standards.
• Promotes Life Time programs, services, and classes.
• Demonstrates deep knowledge of athletic reformer format in every class.
• Educates members on Signature Memberships and supports sales.
