Job summary

Ymca-of-Greater-Brandywine in Chester County, PA seeks an experienced program trainer to develop and conduct specialized sessions for YMCA members. You will lead with enthusiasm, promote healthy living, and ensure a safe, engaging environment while upholding YGBW policies.

Candidates should have at least 7 years in the specialty, be 21+ years old, and be prepared to obtain all required certifications within 90 days.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in the specialty field or related education in progress
• 21+ years old
• Experience teaching 4+ years in the specialized area
• Must obtain and maintain new hire certifications within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Conducts class sessions as scheduled and provides assistance in a safe, enthusiastic, thorough, courteous, and professional manner
• Leads program with enthusiasm and positive motivation
• Promotes healthy attitude, lifestyle, and appearance
• Demonstrates advanced knowledge and ability for the specialty field
• Maintains program records (attendance, rosters) and manages equipment
• Communicates effectively with participants and parents; assists with questions
• Creates staff schedule and communicates with staff; ensures compliance with policies
