The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, First Aid and CPR, and a willingness to support student-athletes alongside the Head Coach and Athletic Director.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• First Aid Card and CPR certification required.
• No prior work experience required.
• Must possess knowledge of proper fitness and conditioning techniques; strong sport knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill teaching duties as a first priority if district teacher.
• Coach athletes in fundamentals, techniques, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
• Adhere to CHSAA, NFHS rules, and district policies.
• Assist with supervision of athletes and adjunct staff.
• Communicate special needs to the head coach.
• Be fair and consistent in all decisions related to sport participants.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.
• Establish and maintain professional relations with parents, students, colleagues, and community.
• Attend clinics to stay updated on trends in the sport.
