Westminster is seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper to maintain athletic fields and surrounding grounds on a beautiful 180-acre campus in Atlanta. The role supports football, soccer, baseball, softball, lacrosse, and multipurpose fields, with a focus on safety, performance, and appearance.

As part of the Grounds Department, you will perform mowing, fertilizing, irrigation maintenance, and equipment upkeep while collaborating with a team.

Qualificações

• Two years’ proven experience in sports turf management or athletic field maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• GED or High School Diploma is required.
• Valid GA Driver’s License with Westminster-acceptable driving record.
• Customer-service orientation and flexibility to take on extra duties as needed.
• Commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
• Demonstrated time-management skills and the ability to work independently or with a team.
• Basic reading and writing in English; ability to read safety rules and procedures.
• Professional interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact with tact.
• Basic computer skills and comfort using a tablet for work orders and emails.

Responsabilidades

• Mow, aerate, topdress, fertilize, pest control, and manage litter as part of groundskeeping for athletic fields.
• Care for trees, shrubs, and flowers; water, prune, fertilize, mulch, weed control.
• Plant annuals, perennials, sod, and landscape enhancements.
• Maintain irrigation systems: controllers, valves, and sprinklers.
• Inspect and service equipment and tools; report damages or deficits.
• Participate in safety training and keep the workshop organized daily.
• Keep tools and equipment in safe working order and store properly.
• Follow all safety rules and campus policies; assist with other duties as assigned.
