Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required; Turf Management certification preferred.
• Two years of experience in skilled trades or facility maintenance.
• Driving license and ability to drive required; certifications must be kept current.
• Experience with turf-related maintenance and field preparation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fields by dragging infield, chalking, watering, and setting bases.
• Maintain fields by filling holes, adding clay, and inspecting for safety.
• Perform grounds maintenance with independent judgment and clear directions.
• Install and paint athletic fields weekly and ensure proper drainage.
• Assist with snow removal and address uneven wear on grass areas.
• Work on Sundays in season and adhere to safety and detail requirements.
• Communicate effectively and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
