Job summary

Lee County Parks and Recreation Department seeks maintenance workers for the new Lee County Athletic Park (LCAP). You will maintain fields, prep for tournaments, and handle general park upkeep, reporting daily to the LCAP maintenance shop for assignments and gear.

Applicants should know turf/landscape care, operate equipment safely, and be ready for physically demanding work in various weather. Weekend on-call availability and pesticide license preference are noted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimal to moderate experience in ground maintenance or related fields.
• Ability to safely operate tools and equipment as listed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Lee County Athletic Park fields and surfaces.
• Prepare fields for tournaments and events.
• Perform general park maintenance and repairs.
• Report to the LCAP maintenance shop daily for assignments and equipment.
• On-call availability for weekend work on a rotational basis.
