Job summary

St. Gerard Athletic Center is seeking an Athletic Facilities & Operations Coordinator to oversee daily operations, scheduling, maintenance, and rentals for the center's athletic facilities.

This role ensures facilities are safe, clean, and ready for events, school activities, rentals, and community programs. The Coordinator serves as the primary contact for facility rentals, coordinating with renters, verifying documentation and insurance, and ensuring policies are followed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in athletic facilities, facility management, school athletics, event operations, or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of athletic facility operations and basic maintenance.
• Ability to safely operate basic grounds-maintenance equipment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate facility rental calendar for the athletic center, gymnasium, and fields; serve as primary contact for renters.
• Prepare facilities for use and verify rental documentation and insurance.
• Coordinate access for evening/weekend rentals and ensure adherence to policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of restrooms, bleachers, walkways, and common areas.
• Maintain athletic equipment inventory and oversee storage and return.
• Assist with games, tournaments, and events; supervise and support stakeholders.
• Communicate facility concerns and maintenance needs to administrators.
