Georgetown University is seeking an Athletics Facilities Assistant Director to manage maintenance and improvements of athletic facilities and fields, including turf care, equipment operation, and game-day preparations. The role requires collaboration with Facilities Management and Athletics stakeholders to ensure safe, well-maintained venues.

The position is On-Campus and involves manual labor, safety compliance, and the operation of various maintenance vehicles and tools.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma and two years' experience in general park grounds, athletic facilities operations, facility maintenance, building trades, construction, maintaining park and construction equipment or closely related work.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions; lift up to 100 pounds; stand for extended periods; operate various facilities management equipment.

Responsabilités

• Maintains athletic facilities and fields; handles turf maintenance (natural and synthetic) and field striping.
• Assists with setup, prep, and teardown for varsity events and other university activities.
• Performs snow and ice removal; ensures safety at work sites; on-call for emergencies.
